Our travel story began in March 2000 with a 3-day weekend trip to Niagara Falls, USA (on the New York side). It was bitterly cold with subzero temperatures, it got dark by 4 pm, everything - including the restaurants - were closed by 5 pm, and we had absolutely no idea what we were doing. We could see across the falls to the Canadian side where neon lights were flashing, music was playing, and people were having a great time but we didn't have enough time to cross the border during that trip. We went back to Niagara Falls (on the Canadian side) in May of that same year then drove through Gananoque and Montreal. It was our first international trip and though we still had no clue what we were doing, our passion for traveling the world had been born and we've been travel junkies ever since.

Over 25 years later, we've crisscrossed the globe numerous times, racked up hundreds of thousands of miles, made quite a few mistakes, and learned a whole lot along the way.
